Noreen's Kitchen: How to Make Bread Pudding

Noreen's Kitchen: How to Make Bread Pudding Tube. Duration : 19.18 Mins.

www.noreenskitchen.com Greetings! We have had a busy day in the kitchen! There are a couple chickens in the oven roasting for tonights dinner and meals throughout the week. I have just pulled a couple loaves of sourdough bread from the oven and now, since I have a loaf of cinnamon swirl bread that needs to get eaten I decided to make a bread pudding that we can have for dessert or breakfast this week. I thought I would make this bread pudding entirely from food storage. A bit of a personal challenge. Doing things like this is a good practice so that we know how to use food storage items as well as a good way to rotate our food. This recipe uses both long term and short term food storage, pantry items. If you are going to serve this for dessert you can serve it with some Spiffy Whip on top and you are all set. If you would like to serve this for breakfast, some maple syrup would not be out of the question! I used 1 loaf of cinnamon bread that I had made over a week ago Honeyville Whole Powdered Eggs Honeyville Butter Powder Evaporated (Canned) Milk Dehydrated Apple Slices from the LDS Cannery Raisins Apple Cider (or apple juice or apple drink or water) Sugar Salt Cinnamon If you would like the recipe, It has been posted on my website front page. I hope this gives you some inspiration and ideas on how to challenge yourself and use your food storage to prepare delicious recipes from scratch that you would normally use fresh ingredients for. Remember, this is a way to prepare ...
